Indirect, Machinery & Equipment Purchasing Manager is part of GM purchasing who has the full procurement responsibility for all goods & services that do not go in vehicles.**Major accountability includes but not limited do...**- Engage, develop & retain people through continuous coaching, active listening, constructive feedbacks, transparent communications, recognitions, provide trainings & team meetings- Optimize the full potential of all team members- Implement improvements and innovations in IME practices- Ensure effective communication and build strategic relationship with suppliers and stakeholders- Listen to the customer voice & make decisions considering their current & future needs- Provide value to GM by identifying cost savings opportunities and work with the stakeholders to develop- Collaborate with safety team & own all raised safety concerns and take immediate actions as a member of SRB representing GPSC- Review POs / contracts packages to insure IME activities follow and are in compliance with GPSC Policy- Cross-reference SAP data to avoid errors or pre-commitment cases.- Ensure fairness of bid process & resources are used wisely- Engage with regional team in communications to set annual targets & make sure that local team is on track- Promote a sense of urgency to achieve team objectives- Connect the team with the region**Additional Job Description****Knowledge/Education**:- Bachelor degree with a very good English & Arabic, both spoken & written- +6 years of service as purchasing & SC professional**Skills**:- Strong Negotiation and analytical skills- High creativity & problem solving capabilities- Detailed oriented & persistence- Ability to work in agile environment- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills**Competencies**:- Displays High Integrity and Honesty- Develops Strategic Perspective- Establishes Stretch Goals- Customer Focus- Drive for Results- Develop and Direct others**About GM**Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all.**Why Join Us**We aspire to be the most inclusive company in the world.
