**Project** Description**:Luxoft is one of the major Software Services companies worldwide. Supporting large vehicle manufacturers in the area of development, production and aftersales is LUXOFT's ambition.**Responsibilities**:- Implementation of functional safety goals for the Project / Product based on ISO 26262 road safety standard- Lead/assist the Customer and Luxoft domains responsible for FuSa SW development- Support the project team with maintaining the Functional Safety Management Plan- Personnel training (e.g. training plans, training records with respect to functional safety)- Tailoring of the software product development process in terms of Functional Safety- Preparation of the Functional Safety documents (e.g. State Machines and/or Architectural Diagrams; Unit Test Reports, Coverage Reports)- Ensuring compliance of software with general software quality targets in accordance with valid quality and Functional Safety standards- Code review (C++) to confirm the safety measures implementation are in place- Planning and coordination of the safety activities- Conducting risk analysis for the identified defects- Driving the safety-related processes:- updating safety guidelines- management of all functional safety work products delivery- steering the safety-related activities in the projects- moderating analysis sessions or performing safety analysis- organizing reviews, participating in audits and safety assessments- Interfacing with the customers and the suppliers for functional safety- maintaining the safety case**Skills**:Must have- 2+ years of experience in ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)- 5+ years of experience in designing systems and SW solutions- Skilled in Functional Safety in the Automotive area- Embedded C++ programming skills- Knowledge of UML notation and practice of usage- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE standard- Self-motivated and self-disciplined, willingness and ability to upskill in Functional Safety Management- Good communication skills in English (language fluent)- Basic knowledge of relevant tools and technologies such as IBM DOOR'sKey Words: Functional Safety, ASPICE, ISO26262 Alternative FuSa standards: IES61513, EN50128, IEC61511, D0178, D0254, ISO13849, IEC60601, IEC61131Nice to have- Proven track on development and implementation of safety concepts and safety analysis (FTA, FMEA)- AUTOSAR (Automotive Open System ARchitecture)- Handling the Customer and meeting requirements- Certified functional safety engineer (TÜV or similar)- Basic knowledge of SW architecture tools (EA, Rhapsody, ARXML)- Strong mentoring and team-building skills**Languages**:English: C1 Advanced**Seniority**:Regular**Relocation package**:If needed, we can help you with relocation process.Line of BusinessAutomotiveVacancy SpecializationService Delivery ManagementRef NumberVR-95148
