To help us on our journey to become a 3B Euro division with excellent profitability we are looking for a new Vice President and Division Controller. Are you the one? Purpose and mission Your mission as Vice President Business Control is to support our division in the ambition to achieve sustainable profitable growth. You will advise the divisional President and the divisional management team in business control from a global perspective, assess the financial impact of divisional strategic directions, and be an active member of the Food & Water Division management team. You will also be engaged in and driving Mergers & Acquisition activities. About the job You will work closely with our six business units, sales companies, and the finance community within Alfa Laval. Your focus will be:
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of the strategy in the division and assist in the establishment of measurable targets and KPI’s to ensure targets are met.
- Evaluate financial implications of various strategic decisions, builds scenarios, and recommend actions.
- Promote initiatives to achieve growth and cost savings as well as strengthen responsiveness to customers.
- Ensure accuracy of financial information used in the Division to support the improvement of both commercial and operational related processes.
- Drive improvement of financial analysis, planning, and reporting processes in the Division.
- Provide analysis support to assess business risk exposure and provide input to define risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performance. Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements.
- Being a business partner collaborating with other functions in the organization to drive business improvements and change – part of both tactical and strategic decisions in our Divisional management team.
- Functionally lead and mentor the team of business controllers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
