Research Business Development Specialist- Establish channels for sales leads; develop database and segmentation of clients.
- Compile weekly sales plan and sales report of suspects, prospects, and materialized business.
- Identify volume and strategic customers and develop partnerships.
- Identify and implement business development projects related to new and/or existing industries, technologies, or services.
- Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities, develop strategic direction from market information, and create compelling market analysis presentations.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, and potential customers to determine their needs.
- Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities.
- Manage Key Accounts and Client Relationships of existing customers.
- Nurture existing customers for business retention and growth.
- Address customer concerns and complaints.
- Induct new customers and new business to achieve/exceed monthly and periodic revenue targets.
- Promote and sell the entire spectrum of products to new and existing customers.
- Engage in upselling, cross-selling, and directional selling.
- Ensure compliance with the guidelines on the credit policy of the company.
- Achieve assigned revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis in direct correlation to the budget.
- Coordinate with the finance department to safeguard interests and collect outstanding funds.
- Adhere to assigned KPIs/KPMs.
Selection Criteria
- Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or any related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant sales and business development experience, preferably from the research industry.
- Proficient with all the business/technical aspects of a market research company.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong commercial sense and ability to conclude business deals.
- Proven experience in writing proposals in English and Arabic.
