Hydraulics/Fire Engineer

Your new role Your new position is a part of the fire and hydraulic services team, and you will be responsible for providing efficient and innovative design solutions for various building services projects including fit outs, new buildings, residential and aged care developments, high rise towers and building upgrades. This role includes:

• Managing design projects from concept through to completion, including consultation with all members of the design team.
• Attending site to inspect existing services and review construction works.
• Carrying out fire safety audits and providing compliance advice.
• Liaising with equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
• Liaising with Authorities, including Trade Waste, Plumbing, and Fire Authorities.

What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this position, you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications as recognised by Engineers Australia and/or QBCC.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills and sound problem-solving skills.
• Experience working on Australian projects and a good working knowledge of the BCA, Australian Standards, and local Authority requirements.
