We are seeking a dedicated Billing Executive who is proficient in hospital billing, accounting, TPA/Insurance billing, and customer policies. In this role, you will ensure accurate billing processes, understand the turnaround time (TAT) for discharge and IP billing, and contribute to the smooth financial operations of our hospital. Key Responsibilities- Billing Operations: Process hospital billing for inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), and discharge scenarios. Generate accurate billing statements and ensure timely entry of patient charges. TPA/Insurance Coordination: Manage billing related to TPA and insurance claims, ensuring prompt submissions and follow-ups. Resolve discrepancies in claims and liaise with insurance companies to secure timely payments. Process Management: Monitor and optimize the turnaround time (TAT) for discharge and IP billing processes. Reconcile daily billing data and generate detailed financial reports for management. Compliance & Collaboration: Ensure adherence to hospital billing policies, customer policies, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with finance, operations, and other relevant departments to maintain data integrity and streamline processes. Qualifications & Requirements- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years in hospital billing, accounting, or a related role. Skills & Expertise: Proficient in hospital billing and accounting principles. In-depth knowledge of TPA/Insurance billing processes. Familiarity with hospital-specific billing software and MS Office. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
