We are currently seeking a qualified QHSE Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of construction experience within the GCC region. Arab nationals are strongly preferred, as we highly value the cultural understanding and local expertise they can bring to our organization. As a QHSE Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across our construction projects. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to establish and enforce safety protocols and best practices.
Provide training and guidance to employees and subcontractors on QHSE policies, procedures, and regulations.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks.
Monitor and evaluate project activities to ensure compliance with QHSE requirements and standards.
Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and records related to QHSE performance and compliance.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of construction experience within the GCC region.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certification in QHSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices applicable in the GCC region.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage QHSE programs in a construction environment.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Arab nationals are strongly preferred, with a deep understanding of the regional market and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working as a QHSE Officer or similar role in the construction industry.
Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and safety management systems.
Proficiency in MS Office and QHSE management software.
