Posted In 10/1/2014 Job Description Leading Banking organisation seeks Head of Islamic Finance to undertake a new position within the SME & Islamic Banking division. Reporting directly to the Head of SME & IB, you will undertake complete responsibility for:

Developing, launching and managing the entire Islamic assets and liability products for all Corporate, SME & Retail Banking segments.
Developing and implementing marketing policies and strategies to meet organisational objectives.
Evaluating market conditions, competitor data and implementing marketing plans and projects (new and existing).
Overseeing and executing marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
Actively developing a 1-2 year strategy and sales plan for product development.
Team management.

Job Skills

The incumbent will currently be working within a reputable banking organisation in UAE or broader MENA region with a minimum of 10 years extensive experience in Product Management, with ideally 5 years in an Islamic institution. Bachelor degree in Marketing, Finance or Commerce. Shari’a certified. Proven ability to manage and understand risk. Experience of developing products and marketing plans for Islamic Banking products and/or segments. Strong understanding of profitability drivers and market development across the various life cycle stages. Extensive knowledge of Islamic Financing structures adopted by Corporate, SME & Retail Banking.
