Job Description - Director - Architecture Planning (2520220V) Job Description stc Kuwait is actively recruiting for the role of Director, Architecture Planning in the Technology sector. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing IT strategy, architecture, and roadmap development, serving as the single point of contact for technology requirements across various units and departments, and managing IT project portfolios and performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:- Identifying new technology and service opportunities and defining the medium-to-long term IT architecture.
- Planning and developing requests into a release schedule.
- Monitoring IT projects and managing the progress of releases.
- Proactively anticipating internal clients’ needs, gathering business requirements, and identifying relevant capabilities within the IT department to propose effective solutions.
- Maintaining a forward-looking multi-release plan into which new requests can be continuously placed and managing capacity across teams covering all domains.
- Providing technical support to the team in planning and placing development requests into a release schedule.
- Liaising with stc sectors and departments to effectively respond to business customer requests and internal queries, ensuring smooth processing of all IT Architecture and Planning transactions.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in BSS, VAS, SOA, Billing and Rating, SMSC, Digital and Telecom Networks.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
