IRS Group UAE specializes in Heavy Machinery, engines, and spare parts trading. We supply original and OEM equipment of brands like Koomatsu, CAT, Cummins, and more. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Logistics Specialist located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role calls for close work with sales and management to ensure fulfillment of client requests, maintain and keep an up-to-date inventory of stock items, compare and analyze vendor pricing, maintain all relevant records, and communicate with Freight Forwarding companies for shipment planning and management. Key responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong key vendor relationships
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities to diversify procurement of product
- Analyze market prices to ensure cost-efficient sourcing
- Coordinate with sales and management, process all client inquiries and ensure timely provision of quotations
- Maintain client request logs, ensure timely feedback and update suppliers on all requests
- Drive conversion of pricing requests to orders in coordinated efforts with the Sales
- Manage ordering process, ensure timely supply of goods by vendors and further shipment to clients
- Devise and put into action effective procurement strategies, ensuring the acquisition of essential goods and services to meet operational demands
- Negotiate contracts with vendors
- Prepare and manage all procurement-related documentation
- Shipment planning and execution with the support of third-party service providers
- Develop and implement procurement policies
- Supplier Management - Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance
- Bachelor's diploma
- Prior experience in Supply Management / Procurement
- Experience in Logistics planning is preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and strategic decision-making skills in complex procurement environments
- Fluent in verbal and written English with confident Business Correspondence knowledge
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in constant collaboration with Sales and management
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills, specifically experienced in Microsoft Excel
- Experience computer user who can ensure fast processing of requests and maintaining of proper logs
- Experience with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to facilitate company growth and scaling of processes
- Ability to work independently, keep track and manage multiple tasks and requests, track and meet deadlines
- Industry experience preferred
- Must be able to commute to the company's office in Dubai South
