To manage the branch operation and enhance branch revenue and profitability. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prospect new clients, attend on sales calls, present various products available and negotiate with customers on credit limits and payment terms with a view to develop business and reach sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities for continued growth in the region.
- Develop alliances and partnerships within the group to create additional market opportunities.
- Handle customer complaints, settle disputes, using discretionary powers, if required in order to ensure customer satisfaction and retention of business.
- Negotiate with various airline companies & tour operators (Suppliers) to obtain special rates / fares that are usually given to travel agents, in order to generate more business and earn revenues for the company.
- Support the overall administration of the branch office, its up-keep, maintenance and layout in order to maintain the professional image of ATTA.
- Review periodically sales performance, revenue earnings & payments position, and follow-up with accountants and sales staff to collect overdue payments from defaulting customers, with a view to improve the company’s revenue position and generate incomes.
- Guide, train and coach all subordinate staff, periodically, supervising their performance, and providing them with up-to-date product knowledge with a view to keep them constantly motivated and bring out their potential.
- Prepare reports for submission to Travel Manager and to key clients, review branch performance and scope/ suggestions for improvement.
- 6 to 8 years experience in the travel industry.
- Graduate in any discipline, preferably commerce.
