The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify potential clients within a designated territory to generate new leads and opportunities in Air Freight
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, cold calling, and targeted outreach efforts.
  • Conduct thorough research on prospective clients to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations to demonstrate the benefits and value of our courier services.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop tailored solutions that address clients & specific delivery needs.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with clients, ensuring a win-win scenario for both parties.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, activity reports, and client information in the CRM system.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify potential opportunities for growth.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our services and expand the company & presence in the market.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and managing client relationships.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the sales manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
