About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Chief Accountant to join our Four Seasons Hotel Madinah opening team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, supervising other areas within the Finance Department, and ensuring that all local and corporate policies and procedures are observed. Responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Assistant Director of Finance with maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets and resources;
Supporting department managers with matters such as labor standards and payroll;
Assisting with the development of the finance team;
Preparing budgets and forecasts, accounting and financial reporting;
Safeguarding cash assets and analyzing and controlling balance sheet and P&L accounts;
Coordinating and facilitating external and internal audits;
Ensuring accurate and timely Daily Business Reports.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have:

Three to five years of experience in a hotel environment;
A college/university education and good understanding of Month-End Process;
High level of integrity and transparency;
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
Ability to prepare and deliver reports, effective presentations, and facilitate meetings;
Desire to promote continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience of a new hotel or resort opening would be an advantage. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential. The ideal candidate should be eligible to work in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. #J-18808-Ljbffr
