Our client is looking for an experienced QHSE Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone who has taken care of terminal safety operations for liquid chemicals, chemicals, and petrochemicals. If you have a strong background in QHSE management and thrive in a fast-paced operational environment, this opportunity is for you!
Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain QHSE Management Systems in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements.
- Organize safety campaigns, training sessions, and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety.
- Monitor and maintain firefighting equipment, fire alarm systems, and evacuation plans.
- Prepare reports, analyze incidents, and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in QHSE roles, preferably in terminal operations or chemical handling.
- A graduate engineer or diploma holder in Industrial Safety.
- Expertise in EMS, QMS, and QHSE practices with strong analytical and communication skills.
Technical Skills & Behavioural Skills
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude with excellent training and report-writing capabilities.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
