Our Specialist Audit and Assurance Services team reviews and gives assurance on high-profile projects, identifying risks and issues for public organisations. We also provide expert advice to Audit New Zealand's core audit teams. We're looking for someone with experience in procurement, contract management, project management, asset management, risk management, or governance – but, more importantly, we're looking for someone interested in learning about them. We have one permanent Manager position available, as well as one six-month fixed-term Manager (or Assistant Manager) position available from April to October – this role can be a secondment. These roles involve:- working with audit staff to identify and deliver specialist advice and support;
- helping to identify opportunities to provide services to the public sector;
- developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external clients;
- complying with our quality procedures and processes;
- working with the Director, Specialist Audit and Assurance Services to identify audit risks and areas requiring specialist input;
- helping staff in our local offices to understand the risks and issues that can arise in procurement, contract management, project management, asset management, risk management, and governance.
