Job Summary: As part of the IT Team, the IT Procurement Manager will oversee the procurement process for IT assets, ensuring compliance with best practices and company policies. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify IT needs, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate records of purchases, contracts, and assets. The successful candidate will work proactively with the Netradyne IT team and stakeholders to support efficient procurement operations. Responsibilities: Purchase and Procurement Management: Collaborate with departments to identify IT needs, evaluate suppliers, manage purchase orders, and track inventory. Vendor Management: Identify and establish relationships with suitable vendors, monitor performance against service level agreements (SLAs), and maintain strong vendor relationships. Budget Management: Assist in budget planning, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide regular financial reports on procurement activities. Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, manage their lifecycle, and mitigate associated risks to ensure optimal usage. License Management: Monitor software licenses for compliance, manage timely renewals, and evaluate opportunities for cost optimization. Contract Management: Negotiate favourable terms with vendors, ensure compliance with contract terms, and manage contract expirations effectively. Support and Reporting: Track and report on product support, warranties, leasing, maintenance, and software contracts, ensuring accurate entry of asset information into tracking systems. Competitive Bidding: Obtain and review competitive bids, quotes, and proposals from vendors and contractors, discussing evaluations with requesters. Order Preparation: Follow up and obtain pricing quotes for items and prepare orders with suppliers. Coordination with Finance: Coordinate with the finance team regarding vendor payments and GST-related issues. Communication: Provide timely and regular feedback to internal users on reported IT issues in a courteous and professional manner. Additional Support: Perform additional tasks as needed to promote comprehensive IT support to end users. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in procurement operations and support. Strong negotiation skills with vendors and effective stakeholder management. Impeccable time management and organizational skills. Ability to build and maintain vendor relationships effectively. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
