HoD Science (with Biology)

The Head of Department for Science at Chilton Saint James School (CSJ) works closely with the Principal and the Assistant Principal Year 7-13. You are responsible for effective leadership of staff and management of the Science curriculum and its delivery in both Middle and Secondary sections of the school, with the assistance of subject specialist teachers. The role includes teaching of Biology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supporting the special character of CSJ as well as School Strategies and Policies.
2. Continually develop and improve the Science curriculum and opportunities for students within the realm of Science.
3. Offering guidance and leadership to staff and assisting with their professional growth.

Directly Supervising

Science teaching staff and Science Technician.

1. Current Teaching Registration and relevant University Level Qualifications.
