Job Title: Senior Embedded Hardware Designer Location: Gurgaon, Haryana Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Hardware Designer with a strong background in designing and developing embedded systems and hardware for cutting-edge products. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on experience in embedded hardware design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing. You will work closely with firmware engineers, systems engineers, and product managers to bring innovative products to life. Key Responsibilities: ● Design, develop, and validate embedded hardware for various applications, including power supply systems, microcontroller-based designs, communication interfaces, and sensor integrations. ● Create and optimize schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCAD). ● Develop hardware documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and troubleshooting guides. ● Perform detailed circuit analysis and simulations to ensure reliability and performance. ● Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure that hardware designs meet system-level requirements and are integrated seamlessly with firmware. ● Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues in prototypes and production systems, including using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters. ● Manage the design process from concept to production, ensuring designs meet quality, cost, and timeline targets. ● Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. ● Support the manufacturing and assembly of prototype and production-level hardware. Required Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. ● 4+ years of experience in embedded hardware design, specifically in developing embedded systems and hardware. ● Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCAD). ● Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design, signal integrity, power management, and EMC/EMI considerations. ● Experience with microcontrollers, FPGA designs, and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.). ● Familiarity with hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators. ● Experience with embedded development processes, from initial design through prototyping and production. ● Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail. ● Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Good to Have: ● Embedded Programming Languages: Familiarity with C, C++, and assembly language programming for embedded systems. ● IoT Protocols & Communication Standards: Experience with IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa, and other wireless communication protocols. ● Preferred Qualifications: ○ Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. ○ Experience with high-speed digital design and RF systems. ○ Familiarity with automotive, industrial, or consumer electronics design standards. ○ Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT). ○ Experience with CAD tools for 3D modeling of PCB designs. ○ Familiarity with FPGA development and VHDL/Verilog.
