NOVARGI Indian branch, an Indian established company belonging to the International Group NOVARGI, is currently seeking a Senior Stress Piping Design Engineer to join our Indian team based in PUNE. NOVARGI Group, as a highly specialized Process Package and Plant Contractor for the Energy Sector, we contribute to better tomorrow with our process and engineering solutions. The Company is acting worldwide from our headquarters in Europe (Spain) and our centres in India, China and Middle East leading projects in the Upstream, Downstream, Circular Economy and Transition Energy. NOVARGI PUNE branch, is mainly focused on Detail Engineering activities for the whole group and Project management activities. Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India Job Overview: As a Senior Stress Piping Design Engineer you will be responsible for evaluating and analysing the structural integrity of industrial piping systems to ensure they meet design and safety standards. This professional works closely with design engineers, process engineers, and construction teams to ensure that piping systems are capable of withstanding operational, environmental, and seismic loads throughout their lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform stress analysis on piping systems using specialized software and simulation tools to assess load capacity and material strength.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to review and optimize piping designs, taking into account factors such as temperature, pressure, vibration, and seismic loads.
  • Conduct pipe flexibility calculations to ensure they can expand, contract, and move appropriately under different operating conditions.
  • Identify and evaluate potential stress hotspots in piping systems and propose design solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Generate detailed technical reports documenting stress analysis results and design recommendations.
  • Collaborate with construction and maintenance teams to ensure that pipes are installed according to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Participate in safety reviews and risk analysis to identify potential issues in the design or installation of piping systems.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulations and industry standards related to piping system design and integrity.
About your profile: Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
  • Minimum 7 to 10 of previous experience in stress analysis and piping system design in industrial environments.
Technical Skills
  • Wide knowledge and experience in the applicable software as Aveva E3D, AutoCAD Plant3D, Autocad, Microstation and others.
  • Knowledge and experience of Stress Analysis (CAESAR II).
  • Wide knowledge of codes ASME B31.1 and B31.3, ANSI and ASME standard.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas sector
