Job Title: Director of Logistics General Description: The Director of Logistics is responsible for overseeing all fuel transportation operations to Transit stations, ensuring efficient fleet and equipment management while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves strategic planning of logistics operations, managing maintenance procedures, and ensuring adherence to Aramco ’s supply requirements and quantity addition processes. The director is also tasked with optimizing operational efficiency and reducing costs to guarantee continuous fuel supply and maximize performance. Responsibilities:

Oversee all transportation operations to ensure timely fuel deliveries to company stations.
Manage the fleet and equipment , ensuring operational readiness through preventive maintenance programs.
Coordinate with Aramco to secure the required fuel quantities following approved procedures.
Optimize logistics operations , improving distribution efficiency and minimizing operational costs.
Supervise preventive maintenance and repairs to maintain fleet efficiency and reduce downtime.
Develop transportation strategies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Monitor driver and operator performance , ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Prepare operational reports on fleet performance and logistics efficiency.
Handle emergency situations and implement contingency plans to address operational challenges.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations related to fuel transportation.
Analyze operational data and recommend improvements to enhance transport and maintenance efficiency.
Manage the logistics department's budget and work towards financial optimization.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation management, preferably in the fuel industry or similar sectors.
Experience in dealing with Aramco supply procedures and quantity addition requirements.
Extensive knowledge of fleet management, heavy equipment, and preventive maintenance.
Strong leadership and management skills in organizing logistics operations and achieving performance goals.
Ability to analyze operational data and make data-driven decisions.
Experience in budgeting and cost control for transportation operations.
Proficiency in transportation and maintenance management systems.
Advanced knowledge of safety and quality regulations in fuel transportation.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact with suppliers, regulatory bodies, and operational teams.
