Position Overview BoomerangFX is seeking an experienced and strategic Manager, Media Relations and Brand Marketing to amplify our brand’s presence, manage high-profile media engagements, and position the company and its leadership as industry thought leaders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing high-impact media coverage, orchestrating successful PR campaigns, and promoting high-profile projects. This role will also focus on enhancing the public perception of BoomerangFX and driving awareness of our innovative solutions in the healthcare technology sector. Key Responsibilities
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with national and international media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Act as the primary point of contact for press inquiries and proactively pitch stories to ensure consistent media coverage.
- PR Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance brand awareness and visibility. Ensure alignment with the company’s broader marketing and business objectives.
- CEO’s Book Launch: Lead the end-to-end PR strategy for the CEO’s upcoming book. Coordinate media tours, organize book launch events, manage promotional campaigns, and secure interviews across multiple platforms.
- Podcast Outreach: Identify, approach, and secure influential CEOs and industry leaders to participate in the CEO's Challenger Podcast. Ensure high-profile guests that align with the brand’s messaging and goals. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential guests.
- Content Creation: Craft compelling press releases, global media kits, feature stories, and executive bios that resonate with target audiences and elevate the company’s reputation.
- Social Media Management: Implement best practices for social media growth and maintain consistent brand messaging across platforms. Monitor and report on social media performance.
- Campaign Monitoring: Track and evaluate the performance of PR campaigns using relevant metrics and tools. Provide detailed reports with actionable insights to improve future initiatives.
- Bachelors Degree in Media, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in public relations, with a proven track record of organizing and executing successful launch events.
- A go-getter and sales-like personality- the ideal candidate will be able to get BoomerangFx's name out to the North American and Global Media.
- Demonstrated ability to connect with businesses, leaders, influencers to increase brand awareness.
- Exceptional written communication skills for crafting press releases and global media materials.
- Experience calling and pitching to news outlets.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle last-minute challenges, such as securing speaking engagements at high-profile events.
- Experience with event-specific launches, particularly book launches.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva.
- Background in creating visual content.
