Senior Network Access Engineer (ClearPass)

Akkodis is partnered with one of the leading Canadian banks to recruit a Senior Network Access Engineer to join their team here in Toronto. In this role, you'll lead the charge in managing and designing ClearPass policies across various platforms - Wireless, NAC, TACACS, and IoT. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring network's reliability, security, and compliance with global regulations. What you'll do:

• ClearPass Policy Design: Craft and manage policies for wireless, NAC, TACACS, and IoT platforms.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Act as the escalation point for network issues, ensuring seamless operations and quick resolutions.
• Change Management: Collaborate with the Telecom Development team and NOC to plan, execute, and document changes with precision and minimal disruption.
• Optimization: Ensure WAN links are utilized and optimized effectively.
• Compliance and Reporting: Provide audit evidence and reports to meet regulatory standards across jurisdictions.
• Global Integration: Contribute to large-scale projects, integrating new technologies into our existing infrastructure.

• ClearPass Expertise: Deep knowledge of ClearPass policy design and management.
• Network Savvy: Proficiency with Cisco switching, firewall rules (Checkpoint and PAN), and WLAN segmentation.
• Problem Solver: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues using documentation and resources effectively.

• Certifications: ClearPass Professional Certificate.
• WLAN Expertise: Experience with Meraki or Cisco WLAN solutions.
• ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL3 processes for streamlined IT service management.
