Position: AV Project Engineer Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Company: Oxford Integration UAE Oxford Integration, a leading System Integration Company, is seeking a talented AV Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. We specialize in Immersive, Audio Visual, and ELV solutions, catering to projects of varying scales in the UAE and KSA. With a strong foundation since our establishment in 2007, we are proud to be recognized as one of the leading integrators in the UAE, working with renowned brands such as Barco, Biamp, Extron, Crestron, Bose, JBL, Shure, and more. Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of project engineering to ensure design accuracy.
- Effectively communicate project progress to the project manager.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to assign technician tasks for projects owned.
- Support technicians and commission the AV system at the site.
- Supervise documentation, including architectural coordination and schematics of the site.
- Understand the site condition and coordinate with the project manager and design team to make changes based on architectural and site requirements through careful review.
- Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of necessary products and technologies such as audio, video, control, UC, and networking.
- Collaborate with fabrication and manufacturing for custom hardware production as needed.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, maintain relationships with key vendors, and seek support as necessary.
- Bring experience in UC and AV Engineering from a project, design, or consultancy background.
- Possess a solid understanding of workplace technology and AV integration.
- Familiarity with architectural and construction practices, collaborating with client’s team to find practical solutions when required.
- Ability to guide draughtsman, and interpret documentation, including architectural annotative layouts, elevations, schematics, and basic modelling.
- Strong knowledge of electrical related to AV systems at site level.
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical documentation, with a proactive approach to self-training or seeking supporting information.
- Skillful in delegating and managing time, tasks, expectations, and team members across multiple concurrent projects.
