  1. The Azure Security Engineer should be hands-on in all aspects of Azure security design and implement a secure end-to-end infrastructure on Azure in a hybrid cloud setup.
  2. Maintain and improve the security posture of the Azure platform, identifying, and remediating vulnerabilities by using a variety of security tools.
  3. Should have in-depth knowledge & experience in secure migration from on-prem DC to Cloud.
  4. Strong familiarity with cloud capabilities and products and services for Azure, e.g., Azure Active Directory, Privileged Identity Management, VMs, Data Services, Key Vault, Azure DBs, AKS, Containers, etc.
  5. Implement and configure cloud security controls and policies, manage access to data, and monitor threats to ensure that apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks are protected.
  6. Design and automate security & governance framework across our cloud environments.
  7. Configure network security including in a hybrid context with traditional network centric controls.
  8. Provide cyber security expertise in the analysis, assessment, development, and evaluation of cloud security solutions and architectures to secure applications, operating systems, databases, and networks.
  9. Ability to map security controls to compliance requirements for cloud environments.
  10. Manage operations within a cloud solution environment using cloud native tools, like Log Analytics, Azure Monitor and Azure Security Centre or other monitoring tooling.
  11. Support our cloud engineers to implement security best-practices and enable secure development and release processes.
Desired Candidate Profile Experience
  1. A minimum of 7 years of experience building and maintaining secure cloud solutions. Expert experience with Azure.
  2. A deep understanding of cloud networking, e.g., IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, load balancer, DNS.
  3. Strong familiarity with cloud capabilities and products and services for Azure, e.g., Azure Active Directory, Privileged Identity Management, VMs, Container Registry, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Data Services, Key Vault, Azure Policy, etc.
  4. Strong familiarity with cloud native tools in Azure, e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Security Centre.
  5. Security certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate or CCSP, CISSP.
