Your Role We're seeking a Business Development Specialist for our commercial team. In this role, you will be crucial in driving new business by identifying, qualifying, and building new partnerships for Tamara. You will collaborate closely with partnerships managers, partner success, and marketing, responsible for developing creative outreach programs and determining the priority of outreach based on potential impact to create unique experiences only Tamara can provide. With a proven track record of exceptional communication skills, written and verbal fluency in English, the ability to work with data, produce insights, and create PowerPoint presentations for sales pitches, you will revolutionize the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank. With a positive outlook, you are solution-oriented, persevering regardless of circumstances, always finding a way through, no matter the challenges. Your Responsibilities

  1. Outbound prospecting via existing network, email, and phone to generate new opportunities with the largest retailers and groups in the region.
  2. Identify and establish strategic partnerships across several verticals, sectors, and geographies.
  3. Negotiate and close long-term contracts that benefit both Tamara and its partners.
  4. Oversee the engagement from business case to negotiation and implementation, demonstrating control of opportunities through CRM.
  5. Facilitate conversations with C-level executives at major retailers and build, maintain, and manage long-term professional relationships with current and prospective partners, expanding key stakeholder networks within partner organizations.
  6. Collaborate internally with relevant teams (product, technology, risk, finance, support) to meet partner expectations, performance objectives, resolve partner-related issues, and create efficient processes, documentation, and sales enablement material.
  7. Have weekly 1-to-1 meetings with the partner success team to ensure that the partnerships you bring in are performing against targets.
  8. Own a pipeline of opportunities within a market/vertical and drive the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Your Expertise
  1. Bachelor's in a relevant discipline, and/or equivalent and demonstrable experience of 3-4 years in new business development and sales within SaaS companies is preferred.
  2. Proven track record in developing new partnerships, relationship management, and project management experience in retail, e-commerce, and other similar businesses.
  3. Experience in developing business proposals within a framework for viability, sustainability, and strategic fit.
  4. Highly developed influencing, persuading, and negotiating skills.
  5. Strong interpersonal gravitas delivered through presentation, promotion, and communication.
