Our client is a leading group of companies bringing in a number of world-leading products for the UAE market. They have exclusive agencies for internationally known companies and top manufacturers for world-class machines and domestic appliances. They are looking for Outdoor Sales Consultant to join their team in Abu Dhabi to help them create new clients in the hospitality sector. Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients (hotel owners, interior designers, and project managers) to understand their space, brand, and style needs.
- Create custom furniture designs that align with client visions, operational needs, and brandidentity.
- Use CAD software or design tools to draft and present design plans and layouts.
- Ensure designs adhere to space planning, safety, ergonomics, and hospitality industrystandards.
- Build and maintain relationships with hotel clients, contractors, and design firms.
- Identify potential clients and generate leads to increase business opportunities.
- Present and demonstrate furniture options, designs, and packages to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and other agreements to close sales.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the furniture and hospitalitydesign industry.
- Evaluate competitors offerings to ensure competitive pricing and innovative solutions.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the types of furniture suitable for various hotelspaces, such as guest rooms, lobbies, dining areas, and meeting rooms.
- Oversee and manage the timeline of design projects from concept through delivery andinstallation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery ofcustom or bulk orders.
- Ensure projects stay on budget by tracking expenditures and managing costs effectively.
- Work with suppliers to ensure the availability of materials and components necessary forcustom designs.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for furniture components to support timely delivery.
- Keep up with industry trends to offer innovative, modern, and functional design solutions.
- Suggest eco-friendly, sustainable, or technology-integrated furniture options whenappropriate.
- Design Proficiency : Knowledge of CAD software and spatial planning tools.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills : Proven ability to communicate effectively and negotiate contracts.
- Customer Service : A strong understanding of client needs and how to meet them throughcustomized solutions.
- Attention to Detail : Precision in design, material choice, and execution of client visions.
- Creativity : Bringing innovative and functional furniture designs to clients' projects.
- Project Management Skills : Multitasking and simultaneously managing timelines, budgets, andclient expectations.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
