Roles and Responsibilities
We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic guest-focused Food & Beverage professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our colleagues. As a Colleague Outlet Attendant, you are responsible for ensuring and maintaining a proper and hygienic cafeteria for all associates. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:- Receive work assignments and supplies and check all tables and back of house areas.
- Wash sinks, ban maries, tiles, kitchen equipment, furniture, and floors in the cafeteria and replenish supplies.
- Clean and keep the buffet area and service areas neat and tidy at all times.
- Report any maintenance work required immediately.
- Report damaged or missing items immediately.
- Turn in all ‘Lost and Found’ articles to the Housekeeping Department before leaving off duty.
- Greet colleagues in a courteous and polite manner at all times.
- Clean all service areas and ensure no loss or breakage while cleaning.

- Guest Service :
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Greet guests as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements, menus, and drink orders.
- Answer questions about the menu, ingredients, and specials, and make recommendations when appropriate.
- Take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring that the presentation and quality meet the outlet's standards.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with a calm and professional attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization :
- Keep the outlet clean and organized at all times, including dining areas, tables, and service stations.
- Set up and break down tables before and after each meal service.
- Clean and sanitize utensils, dishes, and glasses, ensuring that they are ready for the next use.
- Ensure that the dining area is well-stocked with necessary supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and menus.
- Food and Beverage Service :
- Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages, such as refilling drinks, delivering bread baskets, or bringing condiments to the table.
- Maintain awareness of the outlet's menu items, including special offers, promotions, or seasonal changes, to provide accurate information to guests.
- Serve food and drinks to guests promptly, ensuring all orders are correct and presented neatly.
- Monitor the dining area to ensure that guests' needs are met throughout their meal.
- Assisting with Orders and Payments :
- Take orders from guests, input them into the POS (Point of Sale) system, and communicate special requests to kitchen or bar staff.
- Process payments from guests, including cash, credit cards, or room charges (in hotels), and provide receipts.
- Assist with the billing process and ensure that any discrepancies or issues with billing are resolved efficiently.
- Coordinating with Other Staff :
- Work closely with the kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house employees to ensure smooth service and order accuracy.
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate seating, food preparation, and service delivery.
- Follow instructions from supervisors or managers regarding service procedures, guest needs, and daily tasks.
- Stocking and Inventory :
- Help with the inventory and restocking of items such as napkins, glasses, cutlery, and condiments.
- Assist with ensuring that stock levels are maintained throughout the day, reporting any low stock to management or the appropriate department.
- Setting Up and Closing the Outlet :
- Assist with the preparation of the outlet before service, including setting up tables, arranging chairs, and preparing drink stations.
- At the end of the day or shift, assist with closing tasks such as cleaning the dining area, restocking supplies, and ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Excellent Customer Service :
- A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor is crucial for providing a positive guest experience.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to interact with guests, staff, and management.
