Job Responsibilities
- Good knowledge of developing, implementing, and managing quality, risk, health, safety, and environmental management systems ideally within a large dispersed portfolio.
- Full compliance with international standards and standards applicable in the state of Qatar related to building maintenance (for example, ISO 45001) and symbols (for example, NFPA).
- Experienced in inspecting and auditing quality management systems.
- Experience of delivering QHSE training to staff and suppliers.
- Advising and instructing on various safety-related topics.
- Conducting risk assessments and enforcing preventative measures.
- Stopping any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
- Preparing reports on occurrences and providing statistical information to upper management.
- When a workplace accident occurs, conducting an investigation to determine why the accident happened.
- Assisting in emergency management and contingency planning.
- Responding to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures.
- Identifying, investigating, or resolving security breaches.
- Assisting site supervisors as per site requirement.
- Performing any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment, as assigned by HOD.
