The National Disability Insurance Agency’s Scheme Payments Transformation Branch is responsible for strategic planning and transformation of Scheme claiming and payment systems, to ensure alignment with government policies and priorities. The branch drives priority projects across the Agency, using data to inform continuous improvement. The branch’s priorities include automation of claim handling process, and supporting reform pricing and payments frameworks to ensure delivery of quality supports to participants. The team are seeking a skilled Business Analyst, to assist in delivering improvements to claiming processes, assist in enhancements related to payment system functionality and uplift the data and analytics capability in the Branch. The APS6 Business Analyst will be an independent self-starter with the ability to adapt to a continuously changing environment and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes. They will be proficient in problem solving, possess intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and are comfortable identifying gaps and areas for improvement. No one day is the same and your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Producing reports, interpreting data and analysing results using standard statistical techniques.
- Establishing and implementing dashboards to track outcomes against pre-determined criteria.
- Designing functional workflows and mapping of as-is and to-be processes.
- Designing and delivering workshops, communication and consultation resources that support complex systems and business information gathering and sharing.
- Translating business metrics to inform internal stakeholder requirements including efficiency, improvement and performance outcomes to optimise customer experience.
- Coordinating divisional and branch reporting requirements to monitor and track improvement and performance outcomes.
