Special Needs Education Teacher

REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor of Education (Special Education)- Experience in special needs therapy or working with children - Knowledge of learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and other special educational needs - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and external professionals - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs. - Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the unique needs and challenges of each student - Proficiency in written and spoken English JOB DESCRIPTION - Play a vital role in providing specialized support and education to students with diverse learning needs. - Develop and implement special plans for students with special educational needs, based on their specific requirements and abilities. - Adapt and modify curriculum materials, instructional strategies, and assessments to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities and learning difficulties. - Collaborate with classroom teachers, learning support teams, and parents to identify and address students' learning challenges and implement effective intervention strategies. - Maintain accurate records of students' progress, achievements, and areas requiring further development, and communicate this information effectively to parents, colleagues, and school leadership. Amanah Centre caters to their needs and refines their skills according to their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Teachers work hand in hand with parents to achieve the goals set in their IEP, based on their children's present levels of educational performance.
