Mechanical & Electrical Manager (High-Rise Residential Project)

1. Design Review:
   • Review and manage M&E designs and shop drawings for compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
   • Provide technical input and recommendations during the design phase.
   • Coordinate with consultants and design teams to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems.
2. Site Supervision:
   • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems on-site.
   • Conduct regular inspections to ensure work progress meets quality standards and project schedules.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve any site-related M&E issues promptly.
3. Coordination:
   • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of M&E works.
   • Facilitate communication between design and construction teams to address potential conflicts.
4. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
   • Ensure M&E systems comply with Malaysian building codes and safety regulations.
   • Implement quality control measures and monitor contractor performance.
5. Reporting & Documentation:
   • Prepare regular progress reports and highlight potential risks or delays.
   • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including drawings, permits, and inspection records.

1. Educational Qualifications:
   • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Experience:
   • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including:
     • 3 years of site work overseeing M&E installations.
     • 2 years in M&E design and coordination.
3. Skills & Knowledge:
   • Strong understanding of Malaysian building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
   • Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to M&E systems (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
   • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
   • Strong leadership and coordination skills for managing multidisciplinary teams.
4. Other Requirements:
   • Familiarity with high-rise residential projects.
   • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
   • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
