Training Co-ordinator Salary: Competitive Grade: 7 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that provide equipment, support, and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment, and weapons. BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies, thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships. The purpose of this role is the delivery of a comprehensive Training Co-ordination service to the L&D function essential to ensuring that Learning and Development training control meets their targets, also supporting the SPDA in planning, scheduling, and data management. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintaining training plans and updated records for both the CMS and Non CMS personnel and supplying the senior training control with regular monthly progress reports for training control.
- Design and provision of data and reports relating to departmental activities to internal and external customers.
- Ensure internal processes and systems are designed and maintained to allow accurate data collection and reporting.
- Liaise with several BAES customers to ensure the highest levels of service delivery are achieved.
- Deliver a comprehensive training control function to several BAES training initiatives.
- Deal with customers and suppliers via face-to-face, telephone, and written communication methods.
- Assisting the Senior Training Control with the monitoring of vacation, travel, and appointment schedules.
- Obtain Vendor quotes and all associated communication regarding the provision of bought-out services and raising training associated PRs.
- Arranging for External vendors, accommodation, and transport for all external training requirements.
- Producing training control scorecard and updating it regularly.
- Ensuring all training delivery Quality processes are in line with Quality auditing requirements.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant field.
- Extensive proven experience in a similar multi-functional learning and development management role that must include significant interaction and consultation with first line management.

- Creating and updating detailed MS Excel spreadsheets (SUMIF/SUMIFS/COUNTIF/COUNTIFS/Data Filters/Data Sorting/Pivot Tables/Cell Formatting/Data validation/Excel shortcut keys/Workbook/Managing Page Layout/Charts & its Analysis/Date Functions/Name Ranges/Excel Worksheets/Advanced Charting/Functions/Advanced Formulae/VLOOKUP/INDEX + MATCH/Conditional Formatting/PIVOT Tables & PIVOT Reporting/VBA & Macros/Data Tables).
- Mail Merge.
- Creating Macros.
- Power Query.
- Recruitment can be either organic from within the Company, in which case in addition to the recruitment specification, the post holder will need to bring a thorough appreciation of the business relationship of BAES SA systems strategy and operations within Saudi Arabia into the role.
- External candidates will also be considered. They will be required to come from a similar multi-functional Learning and Development Function within a Commercially Sensitive Organisation that places considerable emphasis on ethical behaviour. They will be expected to contribute, in addition to the recruitment specification, to a wide variety of strategic planning experience that will complement, while enhancing, the existing functional operation.
