AC Technician for Heavy Duty Vehicle-Dubai/Abu Dhabi
Education: Secondary School, Intermediate School, Diploma, Any Graduation Nationality: Indian Job Description:- Diagnose and repair AC systems in heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment for AC service, including gauges, vacuum pumps, and leak detectors.
- Install and replace AC components, such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators, with precision and care.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and customer interactions for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Stay updated with the latest AC technology and industry advancements through continuous training and workshops.
- Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining issues and solutions to clients for enhanced satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols while performing repairs and maintenance in a workshop or on-site.
- Assist in training junior technicians in best practices and troubleshooting techniques for heavy-duty vehicle AC systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or automotive technology preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AC systems for heavy-duty vehicles, preferably in a UAE environment.
- Certification in refrigerant handling and recovery, such as EPA 608 or equivalent, is essential.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus for effective communication.
- Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing complex AC systems, with a focus on heavy machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting under pressure and providing timely solutions.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and safety in all aspects of work.
- Strong physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy components and working in confined spaces.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
