As part of a high-performing team, you’ll deliver exceptional client service — providing advice on how technology enablement, digital transformation and enterprise intelligence contribute to performance improvement, as well as how technology can act as a multiplying effect during major program transformations. The opportunity EY is looking for strong profiles to play one of the following roles within our rapidly expanding Technology Consulting team. The role will be based in Riyadh and will serve MENA clients both remotely and onsite across different MENA locations and mainly GCC countries:
- Cloud architecture and cloud migration
- IT services management and governance (ITSM, COBIT, etc.)
- Build and maintain appropriate relationships with clients; leverage relationships to effectively execute work
- Connect the right EY team members to key client contacts
- Maintain open and proactive communication
- Experience in account and engagement management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing, and conference-level presentation skills a plus
- Proven success in leading and developing a team of staff/senior consulting professionals
- Support waterfall and agile project management approaches/methodologies
- Monitor and track milestones and schedules; inclusive of status, dependencies, achievements, and risks/issues
- Organize and conduct escalation, blocker removal, and status meetings
- Uncover, triage, and highlight impediments impacting on-time project completion
- Prepare content for progress reporting at different levels, project management and executive levels
- Coordinate across project stakeholders and assist with internal and external communication
- Capture and maintain project management documentation
- Capture, track, monitor, and maintain estimates for project members' utilization hours (internal/external)
- Organize and execute agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, demos, retrospectives or equivalent as relevant to the project delivery methodology
- Potential certifications include: PMP, Agile, LEAN Six Sigma, Prosci, CBPA
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant domain; Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems or equivalent
- 3-5 years of related work experience leading business functions in at least one of the following areas: Business or technology consulting, transformation/PMO/EPMO design, target, process design and re-engineering, maturity assessment, capability roadmap development, strategy, and operations, change management, end-to-end technology implementation, data framework and automation & digital design and enablement.
- Serve as subject matter expert on IT governance, service management and policies & procedures projects
- Managed or supported the management of large and complex IT governance & service management projects end-to-end from inception and requirement to operations/support
- Deep knowledge of assessing IT governance and service management maturity including IT policies, procedures, guidelines, standards, processes, and services based on deep analysis & leading practices and provide recommendations for implementation and improvement approach
- Provide advice on which IT governance and service management framework or methodology is applicable to client environment and needs
- Experience in designing and implementing clients’ IT governance and service management landscapes including contribution to IT Strategy formulation and implementation within related domains
- Deep knowledge of how IT service & governance management landscape and processes impact and integrate with different enterprise architecture layers including business, applications, data, security, integration and infrastructure
- Completed technical higher education in the field of computer engineering, computer science, electronics, information technology, and relevant industry Certification on IT Service Management and IT Governance such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC 27001, and COSO
- 3-5 years of experience working in a client-facing role for a leading consulting or professional services company in delivery of large-scale complex cloud projects covering IT governance, service management, policies & procedures, and maturity assessment
- Experience working on leading IT governance / service management tools and solutions such as ServiceNow ITSM, RSA Archer, and SoftwareAG tools
- Understanding the business strategy & vision and translating them into enterprise-wide technology vision & strategy in alignment with strategic priorities for growth, customer experience, efficiency etc.
- Assess the impact of the business strategy on the architecture landscape, including organization, information and infrastructure and applications
- Create business and enterprise architecture models that help clients to realize their strategy & vision with technology. Lead the creation of blueprints and roadmaps for complex and large technology environments
- Ability to analyze client’s (IT) Operating Model including the organization structure, processes and governance while developing recommendations and/or creating actionable roadmaps
- Significant experience in 1) developing architecture standards, principles, and guidelines for the enterprise; 2) governing enterprise-wide portfolio of systems / platforms as part of “Architecture Review Board’ and 3) function as guardian of the strategy and architecture to make sure that new initiatives comply with the set guidelines
- 3-5 years of experience specializing in enterprise architecture, technology architecture, solution architecture and standards.
- TOGAF/ZACHMAN or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of Enterprise architecture tools such as Aris, Alfabet
- Develop reference architectures and technology blueprints based on business requirements and non-functional requirements
- Serve as subject matter expert on cloud strategies and cloud solution implementation projects
- Lead the delivery of implementing and maintaining complex cloud solutions (incl. public cloud offerings – AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Managed or supported the management of large and complex cloud projects end-to-end from inception and requirement to operations/support
- Deep knowledge of assessing legacy applications to migrate to optimal cloud solutions based on deep analysis and provide recommendations for leading practices for migration approach
- Deep knowledge of selecting and assessing cloud solutions that meet the requirements
- Deep knowledge of most used cloud services for common cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
- Knowledge of switching on-premises infrastructure to a cloud
- Completed technical higher education in the field of computer engineering, computer science, electronics, information technology, and relevant industry Certification on Public Cloud/Private Cloud.
- 3-5 years of experience working in a client-facing role for a leading consulting or professional services company in delivery of large-scale complex cloud projects for different cloud solutions
- Industry experience of commonly used cloud solutions (AWS/AZURE/Google Cloud/etc.)
