With a dedicated team of over 1,300 support workers across offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, and Rotorua, we provide services in West Auckland, North Auckland, North Shore, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and the Rotorua Lakes District / Taupō regions. Mō te tūnga | About the Role As a Home Healthcare Collections Officer , you will play a key role in supporting the Collections Team to manage and reduce the backlog of outstanding debt. Your responsibilities will include performing professional collections duties and addressing various issues related to the management of Home Healthcare debtors. This will involve investigating and resolving billing errors, as well as improving processes to ensure the financial and operational integrity of the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
  • Investigating and resolving billing and debt recovery issues.
  • Enhancing administrative and accounting procedures within the Home Healthcare Collections team.
  • Collaborating with team members to streamline workflow and build team capabilities.
  • Contributing to the strategic goals of Visionwest Community Trust, while upholding the organization’s values.
We’re seeking a person with the following skills and experience:
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of previous administration and/or accounting experience.
  • Have strong computer skills usingMicrosoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and/or management accounting.
  • High numerical accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting requirements and the ability to interpret financial/statistical information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, producing focused, coordinated results.
  • Analytical skills to assess existing systems and recommend process improvements.
  • Experience with Solora is beneficial, but not essential.
