The opportunity We are looking for an Assistant Manager in our Corporate Tax service who will be working with the Corporate Tax team in Abu Dhabi UAE in client coordination and deliverables. The ideal candidate will help with Corporate Tax and International Tax engagement, from planning, delivery and documentation, and advisory aspects. By integrating deep technical and industry knowledge with established methodologies, you will work with a wide range of businesses and corporations to help them develop and implement effective, practical, and sustainable tax strategies. Responsibilities

  • Support the team in execution, delivery, and coordination with clients to ensure timely delivery of the engagement deliverables. This role requires virtual support where team members can work from anywhere in developing and compiling the engagement information.
Qualifications
  • The candidate should have corporate tax experience and preferably international tax experience as well.
  • The candidate should have at least 3-4 years of relevant Corporate tax and international Tax work experience.
  • Tax candidates should have experience in tax compliance, tax assessments/audit and tax advisory.
  • The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
  • The candidates should ideally possess the ability to understand the client's business and requirements.
Skills And Attributes For Success
  • The candidate should have the ability to work on multiple client engagements.
  • The candidate must have good skill in Microsoft applications like Excel, Word, etc., and must possess good business writing skills.
  • The candidate should have prior experience in dealing and communicating directly with clients.
  • The candidate should have relevant professional qualifications.
To qualify for the role you must have
  • A bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, law, taxation or any related essential fields.
  • MBA, Master, LLM, or another related advanced degree and/or professional qualifications e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent qualification.
  • A very strong knowledge and experience of over 5-7 years in Transfer Pricing within a professional Consulting company or similar environment.
  • Great interpersonal skills and dressing sense.
  • Experience of the US/Europe is an added advantage.
Ideally, you also have
  • Experience of dealing with multinational clients and the ability to work in multi-cultural environments.
  • Ability to win in the market by connecting with c-suite level, good negotiation skills, and ability to work under challenging situations.
