Minimum Qualifications: Clinical Bachelor's Degree (preferably BSN or medical/para-medical degree) Current national professional license or equivalent Certified proof of yearly CME Desired Qualifications: Trauma Outcomes Performance Improvement Course completion (if not, within 6 months of starting the role) Trauma Program Manager Course Completion (optional) Recognized Registrar Certification CAIS or CSTR (optional) Injury Scaling Certification (current edition AIS15) (optional) ICD Coding Certification (optional) Quality Management Certification (optional) TNCC or ATCN Certification (optional) BLS, ACLS & PALS/ENPC Certification Experience: Required: Two (2) years of pediatric trauma care experience or general pediatric nursing Desired: N.A. Job Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Trauma Program Manager, the Pediatric Trauma PIPS Coordinator develops, implements and evaluates the trauma program and performance improvement and patient safety (PIPS) plan. The Pediatric Trauma PIPS Coordinator is a licensed healthcare professional with evidence of educational preparation and clinical experience in the care of pediatric trauma patients.
