TasksWork with our executive team to build a compelling narrative about our business and missionDevelop communication programs, initiatives, and collateral material consistent with the needs of the business, analyze their effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement to the executive teamDevelop high-quality content and collateral for Gently's website and any external facing platformsDevelop and implement communication strategies to achieve objectives related to media outreach, speaking engagements, conference panels, and social media platforms and engagements for our leadership teamTrack media coverage and follow industry trendsAnticipate and manage PR issuesRequirements10+ years experience, ideally in a venture capital or startup PR capacity or in an in-house brand or agency roleHigh proficiency in spoken and written EnglishExperience driving strategic programs that deliver results, both in-house and with an agencyStrong project management, collaboration, and presentation skills.Background in researching, writing, and editing communications materialsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure, on tight deadlines, and in a dynamic startup environmentDeep network of relationships across the media landscape in the USThe ability to master the details and distill complex information for external consumption without losing sight of the bigger pictureExperience with media monitoring and PR platforms to get relevant data analytics
