Purpose of the RoleThe Treasury Manager is tasked with overseeing EIA's liquidity, financial risks, and treasury operations. ResponsibilitiesLiquidity and Cash Flow ManagementEnsure that EIA's operational and investment requirements are fulfilled through effective liquidity planning and cash flow forecastingDevelop and uphold sophisticated forecasting models to project daily, weekly, and monthly cash needsEstablish cash management frameworks that adhere to global best practices, which include variance analyses between projected and actual cash flowsProvide senior management with actionable recommendations regarding excess cash investments and liquidity reservesMarket Analysis and Risk MitigationProtect EIA from financial risks by ensuring thorough management of counterparty, currency, and interest rate exposuresExamine global financial markets to identify trends, risks, and potential opportunitiesFormulate and implement strategies for managing counterparty risk, including ongoing surveillance and regular reportingDeploy risk mitigation tools such as hedging strategies for foreign exchange, derivatives, and interest rate exposuresAdminister the debt portfolio, ensuring efficient structuring, cost management, and alignment with long-term financial objectivesPolicy Development Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldMBA, CAIA, CPT and CFA are advantageous.Prior Experience5 to 10 years of treasury or corporate finance experience, preferably within a sovereign wealth fund, asset management, or multinational organizationMinimum of 2 years in a leadership roleTechnical Expertise, Skills Or KnowledgeExpertise in cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and financial risk managementProficiency in Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba, SAP Treasury) and ERP platformsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret
