Job Description:Senior Project Engineer - Structural (Buildings)Abu Dhabi, UAEParsons is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer - Structural (Buildings) to join our diverse team for our project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing structural deliverables, including but not limited to building layouts, utility layouts, parking layouts, and detailed designs of structural elements such as concrete and steel buildings.What You'll Be DoingCapable of reviewing structural deliverables including but not limited to the following:Deliverables related to building layouts, utility layouts, and parking layouts.Layouts of all Structural works.Details of the structural elements such as concrete buildings and steel buildings.Layouts and details of substations.Layouts and details of potable water, fire water, sewer, and storm water pump station structures.Compound wall, fence, and gates.Topography survey layouts.Earthwork and grading drawings.Ensuring the deliverables are coordinated with other disciplines.Compliance to Authority standards and specifications.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.What Required Skills You'll BringDegree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a reputable university.Minimum 10 years of building experience with at least 5 years of work in the UAE in a similar position.Grade A office building design experience is a must.Possess knowledge of the Authority requirements and standards.Strong English verbal and written communication skills.Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural engineering team.Commitment to safe work practices.Ability to coordinate and meet with Designers, Contractors, and Authorities.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
