About our clientWe are working on an exciting opportunity with a global private investor based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking to hire a director / senior principal to lead their asset allocation and portfolio construction team.What the job involvesDevelopment and implementation of the investor's asset allocation strategyDevelopment of tools to monitor macroeconomic and market conditions that will help to identify potential investment opportunitiesDeveloping and maintaining investment risk IT systemsLeading a team of 4-5 professionalsWho we are looking forA background in Asset Allocation and Strategy with a sizeable investment corporationStrong market monitoring capabilities, having worked across private marketsSound judgement and grounding in risk measurement and monitoring, with a focus on the overall portfolio strategyA high degree of economic literacy on private markets with an understanding of different asset classesA commercial nature upon viewing potential business plans and opportunitiesGraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field, for example economics, finance, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or physics
