Nephrologist Responsibilities:Interact with the patient, take a detailed case history, and determine an appropriate action plan for treatment and management of the condition.Conduct consultations to diagnose illnesses.Manage various aspects of renal transplant including donor and recipient assessment, peri-transplant management, decisions around immunosuppression, post-transplant management, and follow-up.Extensive experience in ICU patient care including managing dialysis modalities.Refer patients to surgeons.Administer medication.RequirementsDoctoral degree in medicine.Medical license to practice.Graduate of an accredited nephrology training program.Excellent communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.
