SENIOR PROJECT CONTROL ENGINEER (PROCESS)Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 07/10/2024Responsible for reviewing engineering designs, monitoring project schedules, coordinating with contractors, preparing bid documents, and managing contracts. Provides leadership to the project team, supports budget monitoring, and ensures project activities are completed on time and within budget. Requires a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, 10 years of EPC project experience, and proficiency in HYSIS.RequirementsReview engineering design drawings, PFD, P&ID, HMB and check the equipment specifications for ongoing and upcoming engineering projects.Continuously monitor and review the project schedules to ensure project activities are implemented in a cost-effective and timely manner.Responsible for the effective planning, coordination, supervision, and execution of engineering project-related activities with Contractor and work sites.Prepare bid documents, participate in tender evaluations and technical clarification meetings, and clarify issues pertaining to the tendering process with Contractors for the project.Manage, monitor, and interpret the contract and design documents. Analyze the priority of activities and ensure timely completion of tasks as per defined procedures and standards.Support the development, documentation, and communication of proper standard guidelines to relevant stakeholders and monitor their adherence to carry out the work on time.Assist the Group Head for the execution of projects within the approved budgetary limits and monitor the actual expenditure against the budget plan.Provide effective leadership to build the project team and set individual objectives for the development, motivation, and performance improvement of subordinates to maximize project performance.
