Job Description
Responsibilities
Perform the activities of client requirements analysing, specifying, designing, developing, testing, documenting, installing, and commissioning advanced control applications using Profit Controller/Optimizer, UniSim, DCS algorithms, and custom programs.
Perform PID tuning, step testing, model identification, inferential models developing, on-line commissioning, tuning of control applications and complex control problems.
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of on-line control applications.
Perform economic benefit/feasibility studies.
Pro-actively seek technology improvements and project methodology improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that arise during project execution.
Train customer engineers and operators on control applications.
Communicate to Project Manager in terms of project progress and issues.
Overseas travels for projects are required.

Job Skills
Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering.
More than 5 years of relevant experience in designing/implementing multivariable model predictive control technology and online optimization such as Profit Controller/Optimizer, DMCPlus and EXASMOC.
Experience in refinery/petrochemical/chemical processes and equipment.
Experience with Distributed Control Systems and Plant Logic.
Experience with interfacing APC on various DCS systems.
