Data Ecosystem Product Owner - Leading Insurance Group

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Data Ecosystem Roadmap and Strategic Vision, including the technology and business aspects, aligning it with the organization's overall vision.
• Identify, establish, and manage partnerships with various stakeholders across the value chain.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and quantify expected business value and return on investment for the Data Backbone features.
• Assume the role of Product Owner within an agile delivery framework.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies, including data quality, metadata management, and reference data management.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in the Life Insurance or Financial Services industry. Overall 10+ years of experience and preferably with an earlier career in Data engineering, analytics, or related field. 
• Track record of successfully delivering data-driven products or initiatives.
• A deep understanding of Life Insurance business processes is strongly preferred. 
• Experience working with public cloud technologies (AWS / Azure), data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and familiar with agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline)
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Product Owner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Life Insurance certifications) are highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Python), understanding of data modeling approaches, and experience in advanced analytics, including machine learning and predictive modeling.
• Business Acumen: Ability to translate business requirements into data and/or reporting solutions, and a strong understanding of business processes and key performance indicators in the life insurance industry.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
