Products Engineer Job Description Design technical solutions for all integrated solution components. (H/W, S/W license, network, connectivity…etc.) Responsible for helping the Sales Team achieve the sales targets the Commercial Manager / General Manager assigned. Identifies the potential supplier(s) list for the provided solution(s) with the support of the Products Team Leader / Business Development Manager. Prepares technical write-up and associated drawings that describe the solution and highlight the advantages of the proposed solution. Studies the available solutions of the competitors to provide the optimum solution, emphasizing our strengths and hiding our weaknesses. Keep aware continuously of market trends and offerings related to their portfolio of products. Involved in customer meetings aimed to describe/discuss the proposed solution and highlight advantages over competitors. Continuously search for and recommend new products or product ranges. Handle product support activities including providing designs and/or recommended solutions, and fulfilling technical support needs to the sales team. Along with suggested pricing based on the price list of the suppliers and expected competition. Personal Skills - Very Good negotiation skills. - Excellent team player. - Good communication, presentation & interpersonal skills. - Good command of English. - Continuous knowledge transfer. Technical Skills Extensive practical experience in industrial Instrumentation, control, and automation systems, including PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols. Good presales technical skills. Good technical writing skills. Have a basic understanding of product portfolio both technically and market positioning.
