The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for supporting the wider Accounting Team. You will enjoy implementing new processes or ways of working that will create efficiencies and will have a great eye for detail. Reporting to the Head of Group Accounting, you will build strong relationships throughout the business and become a trusted advisor to the business. What you’ll do:
- Manage the verification process of our disclosures and claims to external stakeholders including Xerocons, Investor roadshows, and interim / year-end reporting claims.
- Drive efficiencies in account payable processes, supporting the accounts payable manager to identify and embed areas for process improvement and automation.
- Work closely with the accounts payable, billing, and treasury teams to develop and implement best practice policy guidance, application, and adherence such as the Delegated Authority Framework.
- Support our statutory compliance responsibilities including small business payment reporting.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes and implement best practices.
- Be an important link between the finance function and wider business to help support business-wide initiatives.
- Participate in significant corporate or company-wide finance projects and initiatives as directed by the EGM - Accounting and Head of Group Accounting.
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, either in large corporate or big 4 accounting firms.
- CA qualified or equivalent certification.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with business intelligence tooling (AnaPlan).
- Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and accounting principles related to intercompany transactions in consolidations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving skills and proven ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong planning, organisational, and self-management skills.
- A genuine team player who works collaboratively with and contributes to the function of a high-performing team.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both formal and informal settings.
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information, facilitating smooth reporting, and supporting compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.
- Understanding the business and building relationships at all levels across the business.
- Enthusiasm to support a fast-paced finance function and contribute to the ongoing development of the wider finance team.
