Bombardier Aerospace is seeking an experienced Work and Material Planner for its Service Centre located in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
- Create work packages (Work Orders) in SAP for maintenance task(s) execution.
- Identify and create demands for spares, tooling, and consumables on the assigned aircraft projects.
- Be a point of contact for the customer and RSM during the planning stages of the maintenance input.
- Liaise with third-party vendors such as NDT and Borescope Inspection suppliers to coordinate on-site visits during the aircraft maintenance input.
- Coordinate re-work or restoration shop visits for life-limited parts with third-party vendors.
- Coordinate with warehouse/supply chain on the availability of required GSE/tooling and communicate with warehouse/supply chain on any assistance required for their onwards arrangement and execution.
- Review and research aircraft documents including but not limited to Approved Engineering Orders, Aircraft/Engine/Component Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives pertaining to the assigned aircraft as well as incoming aircraft when made available.
- Seek prior approval from Customer’s subscribed warranty program(s) if required to facilitate claim proceeding.
- Host pre-input meeting with the relevant members of the organization where a detailed overview of the project will be presented.
As our ideal candidate,
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Business or Aviation Management or equivalent experience in an aviation setting.
- You will have related experience in an aircraft service facility/maintenance repair organization.
- You have a technical background in Aviation with a good understanding of Part 145.
- You have the planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate your workload within a multiple project setting.
- You have interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with sales team, owners, outside counsel, and other departments.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and have a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with Bombardier Aircraft types would be preferable.
