Position: Sr. Project Manager Ship Repair Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Contract Details: Fulltime Our client, a leading ship repair company in Dubai, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Project Manager to oversee their ship repair projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably in the shipbuilding or ship repair industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all aspects of ship repair projects from planning to execution.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Monitor project progress and ensure that it is completed within the agreed timeline and budget.
Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may arise during the project.
Manage project resources including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Communicate project updates and progress to clients and stakeholders.
Conduct project evaluations and make recommendations for improvement.
Mentor and guide project team members to ensure their professional development.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ship repair project management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the shipbuilding or ship repair industry.
Strong knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex ship repair projects.
Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the shipbuilding industry.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Willingness to travel and work onsite as needed.
Fluency in English & Arabic, both written and verbal.
PMP certification is a plus.
