KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Provide specialized field experience and support to achieve the underlying objectives of the application of corporate governance best practices.
  2. Review and develop a deep understanding of the RTA core business strategy to ensure resources are aligned with organizational goals and objectives for smooth business strategy implementation.
  3. Develop and maintain benchmarking framework and establish strong relations with benchmarking partners through conducting field visits and adopting best practices and cultural environment in reference to RTA needs and environment.
  4. Identify and prepare terms of reference (TOR) for potential development projects in accordance with recognized international standards and excellence framework.
  5. Develop governance plans, policies, frameworks, methodologies in accordance with global best practices, standards, and RTA's strategy and plans.
  6. Advise on governance initiatives projects to raise the degree of awareness and maturity within RTA to the best fit of institutional governance maturity models and in accordance with international best practices.
  7. Review, on an ongoing basis, internal programs and processes to identify areas where there may be barriers to a successful work culture or to existing processes.
  8. Develop and maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the provided services correlated to RTA objectives, approved policy, and model.
  9. Advise in aligning corporate strategy with corporate governance initiatives, business processes, objectives, through analyzing, interpreting business requirements and advising in development of optimized business processes, improvement framework in full alliance with strategic directions and related laws and regulations.
  10. Advise in alignment of organizational development opportunities with strategic directions of the whole organization based on sound analysis of internal strengths, weaknesses and consideration of external opportunities and threats.
  11. Develop, enhance and maintain governance standards concerning the systems/applications that support the area functional teams and contribute to business process management teams.
  12. Mentor development projects, in reference to defined business needs and international standards.
  13. Participate in preparation on development & improvement plans to enhance and improve business performance and level of customer satisfaction.
  14. Review and analyze assessment results and define potential areas of improvement in conjunction with business and market needs towards increasing customer satisfaction.
  15. Define core competency development and facilitate new standards and means of work necessary to support RTA agencies and departments.
  16. Provide necessary support to all RTA Agencies and Departments by conducting effective analysis and assessment as needed.
  17. Identify gaps between the current cultural environment and the environment needed for successful implementation of business strategy in terms of improvement framework, processes and knowledge transfer.
  18. Design and articulate corporate & high-level processes (Value add chain diagram) to RTA mission and strategy, ensuring correct deployment and cascading down to operational level.
  19. Advise in alignment and development of strategy and key results areas at organizational level, across and between functions and cascade down to operational levels.
  20. Develop, review and maintain governance framework models, which define, regulate and govern the relationship and level of provided service between RTA and its Agencies in accordance with international best practices and strategic directions.
  21. Identify and articulate the type of working culture necessary to have a barrier-free environment to facilitate implementation of intended strategy.
  22. Identify key performance indicators for business processes that guarantee achievement of highest business performance and business objectives delivery.
  23. Develop and conduct diagnostic organizational assessment tools and processes that measure corporate governance adequacy and internal work culture within RTA with the goal of assessing whether existing environment is aligned with the needs-based articulated model.
  24. Review and maintain authority delegation manual, ensuring full alliance and compliance with regulations, policies, governance framework and defined roles and responsibilities at RTA.
  25. Perform other related responsibilities as appropriate.
Qualifications Education: Master Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Corporate Governance, or management from a recognized University. Skills:
  1. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a large and active service organization.
  2. Certification in Governance, risk and compliance (GRC), Project Management Institute-Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), PMP, and/or CIA certificates are highly desirable.
  3. Knowledge of Kings Code, OECD governance aspects, and other governance maturity models.
